Thermo Scientific™ pharmaceutical twin-screw extruder, with powerful modular design and flexible plug-in, has the following four functions at the same time: 

 

· Pharma hot melt extrusion

· Continuous wet granulation and extrusion

· Roller Compactor

· Extruder and Spheronizer

 

 

It has many advantages besides the widely known applications. By switching inserts and modules, the existing thermo twin-screw extruder mode can be adjusted to wet extruder, roller compactor, extruder and spheronizer mode, which greatly reduces the investment in new equipment, increases the equipment utilization rate, greatly reduces the equipment maintenance cost and saves the space occupied by laboratory equipment.
